A balm with a peptide complex for lip hydration and support of their natural volume and contour.
Biological rationale
The skin of the lips has no sebaceous glands or melanocytic protection, has a minimal stratum corneum thickness, and is constantly exposed to mechanical stress, such as speaking and eating, as well as environmental factors. This makes the lips especially prone to dehydration and visually earlier signs of ageing – reduced synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycans, thinning of volume, and the formation of vertical lines.
Mechanism of action
Signalling level. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, a “messenger” peptide, stimulates the synthesis of collagen and glycosaminoglycans in lip tissues, supporting volume and contour from within – unlike plumping products that create the appearance of volume through irritating swelling.
Moisturising level. Tribehenin is a humectant that increases moisture saturation in lip tissues and supports visible volume. Petrolatum and Ethylhexyl Palmitate form an occlusive layer, reducing moisture loss and protecting against dryness and flaking.
Exfoliating level. Lactic Acid, a gentle AHA acid, supports cellular renewal on the lip surface.
Clinical profile
Indications: dryness and flaking of the lips, loss of volume, fine vertical lines around the lips, and age-related changes in lip tissues. Suitable for all skin types.
Visible result
With regular use, the lips become more hydrated and plump, while fine vertical lines around the lips appear visibly reduced. Lip texture becomes smoother and more elastic, and the volume effect is created by supporting natural collagen synthesis rather than mechanical irritation.
Safety profile
Free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. Contains fragrance (Parfum) and aromatic components – this should be considered in case of sensitivity to fragrances. Vegan formula.
