The stratum corneum renews itself through the constant desquamation of corneocytes. When this process slows down, excess keratinised cells accumulate on the surface, leading to uneven texture, dullness, and clogged pores. The combination of mechanical and chemical exfoliation allows the formula to act on both stages of this process – removing surface impurities and accelerating the natural renewal of the epidermis – with a lower irritation potential than the isolated use of strong acids.<\/p>\n
