Tyrosinase is the key rate-limiting enzyme in melanin synthesis within melanocytes. Its activity increases under the influence of UV radiation, hormonal fluctuations such as pregnancy and perimenopause, and post-traumatic or post-procedure inflammatory signals, leading to excessive and uneven pigment deposition. With age and cumulative UV exposure, the skin\u2019s natural ability to eliminate excess melanin decreases, making multi-step inhibition of melanogenesis a more effective approach than targeting a single pathway.<\/p>\n
Mechanism of action<\/b><\/p>\n
